A new Haynes Owners Workshop Manual has been released which provides a full maintenance guide to the eighth generation Honda Civic, adding to Haynes’ expanding collection of car and bike manuals.
First introduced in 1972, the car is now in its ninth generation, and has sold over 19 million units worldwide in the past five years alone.
The Honda Civic (Jan '06-'12) 55 to 12 Owner’s Workshop Manual covers the repair, servicing and maintenance of the hatchback petrol 1.4 litre (1339cc) and 1.8 litre (1799cc), and diesel 2.2 litre (2204cc). However, it does not cover the Type R, IMA Hybrid or new Civic range introduced in February 2012.
Having sold over 200 million manuals worldwide over more than 50 years, Haynes is the industry leader in automotive manuals, helping everyday motorists to save money on costly garage bills.
Every manual is written from hands-on experience gained from stripping down and rebuilding each vehicle in the Haynes Project Workshop. The practical step-by-step instructions and clear photos are easy to follow and provide information on maintenance, servicing, fault finding, the MoT and Haynes tips to make many tasks easier.
As with many automotive manuals from Haynes, you can now access Manuals Online, which includes the Honda Civic Manual, providing access to service and repair information on your PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone – great for when you’re on the move.
The Manuals Online include all the content from the printed manuals with the additional benefits of a glossary of terms, searchable menus and quick links.
